Mainstream are pleased to announce that we have been successfully awarded a place on HES’ Brokerage Service framework for Telephony Services.
One of just four companies on the framework, this promises to strengthen Mainstreams presence in the education market. “Schools can be difficult to approach directly”, explains Katrina Iddon, Mainstream Sales Manager, “but we already have a large number of school clients gained over the years. Schools will speak to one another and we often gain new clients through recommendation, but it also requires hard work and persistence. We know school budgets are under pressure more now than ever, so if we can help them find ways to cut costs, while providing a good service then that has to be a good thing.”
Katrina continues, “This is a great win for Mainstream as we only started looking for telephony tenders recently. As more schools have moved to be Academies and Multi-Academy trusts, they are increasingly using tendering services like this one, to ensure best value solutions, and we needed to make sure we were visible in these spaces. We are on the lookout for more tenders and hope to continue this initial success.”
This framework provides a council approved marketplace for schools as part of the HES Brokerage Service, for Havering and surrounding areas to use when they need to make purchases or review their existing services. Schools using the service can be assured that the vendors involved have been vetted and approved, for a period of 3 years. With more than 85 schools currently accessing the HES Brokerage, more schools are expected to join to enjoy the benefit.
